I told everyone that Day Nine was stressful, but man is it even more stressful on Day Ten!!!
I had tons of errands to run, kids to chase, and I found out that my housecleaner, who was suppose to be here today to clean our house, forgot to tell me that she was going to be in New York this week. So I was freaking out!!!!! If I would of known that she wasn't coming, I would of scheduled my errands a lot better and been home to really clean the house!!!
So I didn't work out, but I tried to eat better. But again, I ended up reverting back to my old ways.
Breakfast
Coffee
Lunch
Fresca Salad w/ Salmon
Penne Vodka
Sweet Tea
Dinner
Salmon w/ mixed veggies & rice
Water
Evening Snack
small popcorn
It was such a crazy day and today is even crazier while I am waiting to drive and pick her up from the airport. This is one of the things that I am afraid of- when things get tough, I am easily reverting back to what I use to do. I'm afraid I don't know what to do. Why am I falling back into my old ways? Am I ever going to be able to make the right changes? Every morning I tell myself that I am going to go work out today, but when things go crazy, I end up not exercising. Is it okay to just watch what I eat? Is that going to be enough? Am I ever going to get this weight off or am I always going to be like this? Fearing that I am not going to be here for my family?

I would like to commend you on what you are trying to accomplish. Your entire family will benefit tremendously!
ReplyDeleteWhat would Jillian Michaels or Bill Phillips do? If they were stressed or freaking out, do you think the first thing they would do is go to Bojangles?! They would probably grab an apple and tackle the problem at hand.
Cleaning the house can be great exercise and you can plan the next part of your day while you are vacuuming, etc. Have your Mother in Law watch the kids while you run errands or have her come with you. This gets all of you out of the house and moving.
If you HAVE to eat out, try this...you mentioned being on the computer often, so look up the nutritional value of what you would like to order BEFORE you order it. If a restaurant (especially chain) doesn't list the nutrition, NEVER eat there. Really. There are many online tools to help you find your proper nutritional needs.
You can do this! Every meal or snack is an opportunity to make a good choice, not just every day. One bad meal or day will not make or break it, just as one good meal or one good day will not save you. You just need to consistently make more and more positive choices and that will save you. You will get there. Don't give up already!
