Day Thirty-Seven- Man, Am I Hurting Today!!!

I'm blogging early tonight, because I am hoping to get to bed early. I am feeling really exhausted!!!


Even though the kids are on Christmas vacation, I still got up early and headed to the gym. It is nice that my aunt is staying with us for a while, she can watch the kids while I go to the gym. So I headed to the gym and did upper body. And I tell you what, I really pushed myself today. I was in a good groove, jamming to my tunes on my iPod, it felt really good. I even got a nice compliment from a lady at the gym who met me when I first started. She told me that I was starting to tone up and she was seeing changes. That was awesome to hear!!!

After the gym, I headed into work and got insurance claims out, called some insurance companies for patients who weren't getting the chiropractic care covered, & set statements to patients. By the time I got all done, it was time for lunch. Now, I did do something that I use to do and was stupid about it. When I got up in the morning, I typically have breakfast before I go to the gym or grab a Myoplex drink.

But this morning, that wasn't the case. I figured, if I go work out, I will have breakfast at the office (we keep fresh fruit/yogurt in the fridge). Instead, by the time it was lunch time, I completely skipped breakfast!!!! DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, typically I would run to Bojangles, Taco Bell or somewhere like that, order a combo meal (Super sized from being completely famished), and gorge, then feel like I need to go into a coma & pass out. But this time, we went to a little diner that has a killer salad bar (I would rank it up there with Ruby Tuesday's) and got the soup & salad bar & split a BLT with my husband. After lunch, I still had energy & kept moving & shaking!!!

Here is my food journal entry for today:

Breakfast
Nothing but cup of coffee (DUMB!!!!)

Lunch
Salad (iceberg lettuce w/ a lot of spinach, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, shredded carrots, shredded cheese, croutons, thousand island dressing)
Small scoop of pasta salad & potato salad
Bowl of Vegetable Beef Soup
1/2 BLT Sandwich
Water (3)

Dinner
Spaghetti w/ Homemade Sauce
Garlic Bread
Water (2)

Tomorrow, the first thing I am going to have is breakfast before I do anything. It's cardio day so I will talk to everyone tomorrow!!!!
