So after the other day of making some bad food choices, I really focused on making good choices today. I know that if it is a forced choice, it is easy to fall of the wagon. So I tried to make a "conscious effort" to make good choices. I went to the gym and did my cardio, running two intervals at 1 minute each, getting my heart rate up at a good rate that I reached my peak high on the treadmill. I am pretty proud of myself that I have been able to real stick to doing the treadmill, not getting bored, even jogging on it. My new goal is to add 10 secs each time I am on the treadmill next week. Let's see how that goes.
We had a snowstorm approaching where we live, so the kids were let out of school at 11 am. I had to run and pick them up, and head to a meeting at a restaurant that I work with as well as a meeting that we had at our office. After the meetings, I headed home with two of my kids (one of my sons went to a friend's house), and the snow was falling so much that going up our street, I had to weave back and forth just to make it up the street. Man, was I glad I got my workout in the morning so I didn't have to worry about it later.
While I was waiting for my husband and son to getting home, I got a fire built in our fireplace, and started prepping the food for dinner. I found that if I prepped a lot of the food ahead of time, it make cooking a lot easier, not feeling like it is a long process. I went a laid down in my room, working on some things when I passed out on our bed. I didn't realize how long I slept until I woke up at 9:30 pm. I slept about 6 hours.
I woke up and had something to eat, and watched some ABC Family movie with one of my kids, then when it was over, and he was passed out on the couch, I put him to bed and went to bed myself. I guess with the snow and the working out, my body needed to take a break and rest up.
So, here is my food journal entry for today:

Fresca Salad w/ Grilled Salmon
4 slices of Focaccia Bread

Tomorrow is Upper Body unless the snow falls real hard and I can't get out of the gym. Talk to everyone then!!!
